Doug has worked in many different areas of construction. He now chooses to specializes in decks and fences for residential clients, he still takes on the occasional commercial job.

Doug has been a Journeyman Carpenter since 1986. He started his career in carpentry in 1981, framing houses in Edmonton.  Later he expanded into commercial construction.  Where at the age of 26, he became a superintendent; in 1990 that was not a normal occurrence.

He worked as a superintendent until 1998 when he started his own company in partnership with his wife Jackie, working primarily on commercial projects.

In 2008, it was again time to switch gears,  and started building mainly decks and fences for residential property owners.

Doug currently works in both the residential and commercial sectors. He has taken on projects in both sectors due to demand for his workmanship.

He takes pride in what he does and in delivering quality work on a reasonable timeline. His customers have come to expect his quality of workmanship and professional manner. Which leads them to call him back for their next project.
